The start of the challenge was pretty nice. I got 20 wins of 30 matches so far.
I’m going to update the actual winning rate in the widget every day. I’m pretty sure it will help me a lot to stay focused and to keep a better game management in mind.
Here’s one very interesting hand I played my last match at the FinalTable of the 4man HU:
http://www.pokerhand.org/?4775252P
It seems like a very, very loose gambling call, but I had the note “3bets AKo very high and shoves on any flop at low blinds” already before. I don’t think the call is wrong, I’m way ahead or way behind here and I was quite sure he wouldn’t do that move with any pocketpair. And that’s the reason why I call his big 3bet preflop. I don’t got the correct odds for calling on setvalue obviously, but I was preflop already pretty sure I would call his shove if no K, Q or Ace would show up on the flop.
Only problem with the call is: Blinds are very low and if I fold that hand I still got a very nice stack to beat this donk.
I only played him two times before. Maybe I should have wait for a better spot and just fold the 3s preflop. But did I really would think the same if he didn’t get lucky to catch his 6 outer..?!
