The first HU MTT event for regular players will take place on April 29th, 2010. Please contact me or one of the registered players for the password and join the action! The ID of the tourney is: 262156514.
It’s not me who is running this tournament, but I like the idea of regular HU MTTs for skilled players a lot.
I will donate 50% of my winnings of this and future private HU MTT events to charity and hope for some more to join me.
I’m still down this month – update is coming as soon as possible (when I’m not so much down as I am atm
).
I just found a funny very new video which I wanna share:
I haven’t played much this month so far and had a lot of sick setups recently. It always sux to win like 80% of the games at 230, but lose almost every match at 570s. But I haven’t lost much and I’m glad to be “almost even”, only down some k’s without tilting more than two games before I quit. Just standard swings and nothing to worry about especially cuz the 400k milestone is near and will zero the losses completely.
Last week I added a link to heybude’s blog which is very readable. It’s always nice to find informative HU SNG blogs. There are very few players who update their blog constantly. If you know any other good HU SNG blogs, please let me know!
At the moment Pokerstars is off due a server restart. Still wondering why they always cancel all turbo HU SNGs already 3hours before. For the nonturbo’s it makes a lot of sense to me, especially after I have spoken with a reg of non-increasing HU SNGs who told me that his longest match lasted more than 11hours. But cancelling the turbo Heads-Ups hours before a server restart just shows me once again that Stars is making way too much money if they don’t even care about 2 hours more or less rake-income.
Last night Peter Eastgate went broke on Stars (as he said in chat). He lost a lot since his WSOP title and is down about 500k over the past 9 months with his screen name “peteeastgate” (about 370k with CashGame and 100k with SNGs). Online Poker seems a tough game to beat for the “Pokerstars Pro’s” who are donating a lot of money, especially while playing HU SNGs. In the end Eastgate had about $60,000 left in his account and decided to flip against a CashGame pro who won all of them. gg sir. Biketime!
